With cannabis growing knowledge dating back more than fifty years, Soma Seeds (also known as Somas Sacred Seeds) is one of the most respected and environmentally friendly cannabis seed banks in the industry today. 

Now based in Amsterdam, the Soma Seeds company first gained international recognition after claiming 3rd place in the indica category of the 1999 High Times Cannabis Cup, but it was many years prior to this newfound fame, that their now-legendary owner, Soma, first began growing his own cannabis plants. 

Having been introduced to his first joint in 1967, Soma was inspired to take his life in an entirely new direction. Quickly quitting his desk job at IBM, Soma began growing cannabis in 1971, establishing his Soma Seeds brand some years later.

Having gained a more in-depth knowledge of ecology and its effect on the environment, Soma vowed to grow his cannabis in an organic and eco-friendly manner and is that vow that holds steadfast today with Soma Seeds impressive range of regular seeds, feminised seeds and autoflowering seeds.

Given their decades of experience, Soma Seeds has become something of an authority in the biologically friendly marijuana cultivation process. And being a personal user of medical marijuana himself, Soma was determined to develop increasingly more powerful and applicable medicinal genetics.
