Green Ninja Strain Genetics

Heavyweight seeds Green Ninja feminised seeds are the result of some impressive breeding of its potent mother plants – Crossing the legendary Northern Lights (one of the most popular strains in seed banks all over the world) with an Afghani – to produce a powerful, yet balanced indica-hybrid that brings all the best traits from the cup winners in its genetics. As the spawn of one of the most popular Indica strains of all time, it should be little surprise that Green Ninja from Heavyweight Seeds is a marijuana seed of truly top-shelf material.

Green Ninja Strain Terpene Profile

The terpene profile of Green Ninja is still under development, however, based on our knowledge of the parent strains, we can make some pretty educated guesses. Myrcene seems to provide the herbal taste and smell that we all associate with high THC strains, a classic taste that is heart-warming on the inhale and smooth and pleasing on the exhale.

Also present is limonene, which gives a fruity feel to the scent, as well as adding a strong smidgen of citrus to the flavour. Caryophyllene, another terpene that seems to be present in Green Ninja cannabis seeds, adds a spicy, peppery kick to proceedings to bring real originality to the taste.

Expect a deep, heady high, and a memorable, yet subtle combination of taste and scent from this impressively high THC (around 22%) offering from Heavyweight Seeds.

Green Ninja Strain Effects

The effects of Heavyweight Seeds Green Ninja are fast-acting and weighty, but not in a way that is too much for the seasoned cannaisseur, thanks to the impressive balance of the two mother plants in its genetics.

Instead of that heavy, lazy inducing feeling, you may expect from high THC, indica-dominant strains, you are likely to feel a much more cerebral sensation, reminiscent of Green Ninja’s parent, Northern Lights. A hearty kick, for sure, but one that provides an intense feeling of relaxation, along with a contemplative edge that could well inspire a burst of creativity.

Green Ninja Strain Medical Benefits

Caryophyllene and THC both bind to the receptors in the endocannabinoid system, which helps to control various bodily functions including appetite.  The endocannabinoid system helps to control pain, and by binding to receptors, caryophyllene and THC may assist in regulating and enhancing the ability to limit pain.

With the presence of limonene and myrcene (both popular folk medicine cures for inflammation) and with its indica dominance and high THC content, this cannabis strain could also be ideal for those with chronic pain, inflammation or even a lack of appetite

How to Grow Green Ninja Strain

These feminised seeds are a solid choice for indoor growers, who will benefit from a fast flowering time and durable plants that are easy to grow, with little work necessary.

This 12/12 Photoperiod flowering type marijuana seed grows well in small spaces and is not too leafy making it ideal for those growing cannabis with limited space. While outdoor growing is possible, these high in THC seeds prefer a dry, mild climate and can react badly to an abundance of either hot or cold weather.

Whether growing indoors or outdoors, you can expect a high yield with Green Ninja feminised seeds, up to 550 g/m2 for indoor growers, with a flowering time of around 7-8 weeks. Outdoor growers will see an even higher yield of around 800gr per plant of dense, resinous, crystal-covered buds by late September.
