Snowbud Genetics
Snowbud, like Pamir Gold, is another ´high altitude’ strain from Dutch Passion. The master breeders took high-quality Afghani and South African (sativa) landrace genetics and combined them into this easy growing and hardy strain. Made for outdoor grows, she was bred and hybridized in the Swiss Alps. The name, Snowbud, comes from the huge amount of pistils that you get on the bud, which give her a white look when going into flower.
Snowbud Terpene Profile
Light and aromatic, Snowbud is characterized by a skunky and distinctly spicy smell of cinnamon. The almost chemical/fuel skunk flavour is strong and is the predominant one you will taste. She is a smooth smoke, that is soft on the throat and shouldn’t make you cough.
Snowbud Effects
The sativa genetics come across most strongly in the effect. She’s definitely an upper and comes on very quickly. Thanks to her low to moderate THC level (8-12% on average) she has a light, cerebral effect that will make you feel happy and keep you active. The indica side of the family gives a slight body effect that, though not buzzy, should make you feel physically relaxed.
Medical benefits Snowbud
Cannabinoid information for Snowbud is not available at present. Her low THC level (8-12%) means she is not a heavy hitter when it comes to helping treat medical conditions or pain. That said, her light effects are very pleasant and uplifting; meaning she could prove helpful to folks with mood issues, mild depression or those needing a little helping hand during the day to manage fatigue, stress or mild pains and aches.
How to Grow Snowbud
Snowbud, from Dutch Passion, is an outdoor girl. She can grow tall and leggy, up to 2 meters or more under ideal conditions. Raised in the Swiss Alps, she likes cool climates and has been made to be very mould and mildew resistant; making her a good option for outdoor, home growers in damp Northern European countries. Her yield, when she´s treated well, is above average but not massive. She is quick to flower, averaging about eight weeks.
