Big Kush Strain Genetics
A near 50/50 indica/sativa mix, though perhaps a little indica-dominant, Big Kush combines the power and potency of both its parents. Dinafem crossed Big Skunk (supposedly the biggest yielding strain ever) with OG Kush (the legendary Cali strain, known for its lovely earthy flavour and deeply relaxing effect). Together they make a flavoursome, resinous and high yielding strain, with up to 20% THC.
Big Kush Strain Effects
Long-lasting and balanced between a cerebral high and a body-buzz. The uplifting sativa-like effects will come on first; quickly and powerfully. The high THC level means these can be very strong for less experienced consumers.
Gradually a sense of calm will overtake and spread throughout the body, relaxing muscles until reaching a complete state of bliss. This strain is best for evenings with fellow cannabis enthusiasts.
Big Kush Strain Terpene Profile
There is loads of the terpene Limonene in the mix here, providing its intoxicating lemon aroma. This mixes really well with the earthy smell common from the Kush family tree. Flavor-wise those aromas are very prevalent too, and Big Kush has a very sweet taste to it.
How to Grow Big Kush Seeds
In Big Kush, there is a mix of the light green colouration, slim stalks and long colas of a sativa, with the bushy shape and improved yields of an indica.
This easy-going plant can reach up to 3 meters outdoors and under ideal conditions can produce a high yield within a short flowering time whether in or out (8 – 9 weeks on average).
The buds are resinous, aromatic, compact and sticky when cured. They’re also nice and frosty, with a good covering of trichomes and orange hair. Foliage is well spaced out and not too dense, meaning it’s easy to manicure.
